Found an adult LESSER BLACK-backed GULL yesterday, Dec 16, 2015, hiding among a
gull flock in the parking lot at the North Anna Power Plant in Louisa County.
Lesser Black-backed Gull is a rare but regular visitor to Lake Anna.
Although this area is off limits to the public, the large gull flocks work the
lake from the plant down to the main dam during the day. So keep an eye out for
the Lesser Black-backed if you are in that area.
