I birded Lake Accotink and Burke Lake from 8-11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28th.
Best birds were a male Red-breasted Merganser at Accotink, and 500 Common
Mergansers at Burke.
Most of the Common Mergansers were gone by 10 a.m. Other notables:
