I took an afternoon stroll at Lake Accotink today. After entering at Ellet
Road off of Inverchapel Road, I turned left and walked towards the lake. It
was pretty birdy and I spotted 46 species. Highlights included a Barn Swallow
flying with several Tree Swallows, a Pied-billed Grebe, Gadwall, Ring-necked
Ducks, an Osprey, Golden-crowned Kinglets, and several Yellow-rumped Warblers.
