I spent a short time at Leesylvania SP this morning, starting around 9 a.m. At
the first parking area after the entrance I went in on the Potomac Heritage
Trail just a short way. There I found a Blue-headed Vireo and my FOS Brown
Creeper. A few other migrants were up very high and difficult to ID. Down at
Bushey Point trail I encountered a small flock of White-throated Sparrows and
about a half-dozen Yellow-rumped Warblers. Golden-crowned Kinglets were
encountered at several stops. Other than DC Cormorants and some fly-over
Mallards, no waterfowl was seen on the water. Migrant activity was very subdued.
