Leesylvania was liberally sprinkled with migrants this morning, but we could
not find a mother lode flock. Highlight was a mourning warbler at the
northernmost boardwalk near Bushey Pt. The bird was calling and I thought it
was a waterthrush, but Linda Chittum stuck around and got several glimpses.
Thanks, Linda! Other warblers were American redstart, northern parula, Cape
May, Tennessee, blackburnian, black-throated green, yellow-throated, magnolia,
bay-breasted, black-and-white, and common yellowthroat. Other notables were
rose-breasted grosbeak, white-eyed vireo, scarlet tanager, and indigo bunting.
