VA Birders,
I was surprised to find a LINCOLN'S SPARROW while visiting my parents at their
house in Burke yesterday (sorry for the delay). The bird was along the edge of
a powerline right-of-way in a brushy area near a creek not too far from the
house. It showed quite well until it popped back down into the brush. We (my
Dad and I) were unable to re-find it an hour later. Then again, those guys can
be quite shy....
