Hi, all.

This morning at Pleasant Grove Park in Fluvanna County, I had a Lincoln's
sparrow, which is quite unusual in Fluvanna (because it is well east of the
ridge line). The Lincoln's was in the company of a a white-crowned sparrow,
multiple swamps, and various other winter arrivals and late migrants

I also checked all of the waterfowl spots in the northern half of the
county (only Lake Monticello produced anything), and in addition to the
regular year-round species, turned up horned grebes, American black and
ruddy ducks, a lone coot, and a cormorant.

Great birding,

Shea
