[Va-bird] Lingering waterfowl on Belmont Bay, Frfx and Pr Wm Cos, Sat 5/17/08

VA BIRDers,

 

A quick note on the lingering waterfowl on Belmont Bay.  I noted the
following from Belmont Marina.

 

C. Goose 15

Mallard 2

Lesser Scaup 11

Bufflehead 3 (one male)

Red-breasted Merganser 3

Ruddy Duck 4

Horned Grebe 1, this one is unusual, full breeding plumage

DC Cormorant 36
