Yesterday Tim and I hosted Little Spring Day at our house and ended up with a
great list of birds--52 species by my count. These included our yard FOS
catbird, Baltimore and orchard orioles, Acadian flycatcher, redstart and
black-throated blue warbler. Some other highlights were rose-breasted
grosbeak, scarlet tanager, wood thrush, veery, great crested flycatcher,
meadowlark, blue-grey gnatcatcher, red-eyed, white-eyed and yellow-throated
vireos, common yellowthroat, ovenbird, parula, pine, black-and-white, and
yellow warblers, chat, and grasshopper sparrow.
