John Rouse and I spent this rather cool and blustery morning on the Bridle
Trail area of Sky Meadows SP. We found the previously reported Loggerhead
Shrike at the intersection of Rolling Meadow & Hayfield trails. Reference

Be aware that these 2 trails intersect at 2 places, as Rolling Meadow is a
loop. To get there the quickest/shortest way, turn left (northward, I think)
at the trailhead of Rolling Meadow and go until you hit Hayfield, which is
about a quarter mile. We also had all 7 of the local Woodpecker species and
lots of sparrows. One notable miss in that category was Savannah, which I
usually see at this location.
