We stopped at several different locations today at Manassas Battlefield (Prince
William County) this morning. Very quiet in all cases. The best animals were
Meadowlarks at the main visitor's center and a lovely gray cat at the law
enforcement offices who definitely should be named, "Smoky".
I saw no recent eBird reports for entire park area, so thought it worth
checking. We gave a quick scan through the conifers at each location looking
for Red-Breasted Nutheads, but it was not to be.
