We did the Northwest Quadrant of the Manassas Battlefield as our sector of
the Manassas CBC yesterday, 12/26/09. This sector is west of RT 234, north
of RT 29 and east of Pageland Rd. Although we had rain and fog and high
water everywhere, we had a good day with 42 species which is consistent
with our previous counts for this area.
Best bird of the day was a Merlin along with 7 sparrow species. Highest
