VA birders,
This morning, I decided to visit Manassas Battlefield NP. I got a late start
due to the weather, but still managed to have a good day. I spent my time at
the New York monuments and a wide trail that connects to the picnic area on
Groveton Rd. and both areas were productive. It was nice to find Eastern
Phoebe and Tree Swallow, but my favorite moment was when I flushed an American
Woodcock.
Good birding,
