Mitchell Byrd stopped by today to say that he'd just seen a Marbled Godwit in
the wet field along Rte 600 about a mile and a half north of the Northampton
Landfill (this is the field that has held 80+ Pectoral Sandpipers, most of
which are apparently still there this morning). Tom Saunders relocated one of
the two Wilson's Phalarope at the Capeville pond yesterday morning, but
electric company workers flushed all the birds in this spot, which is probably
worth
checking nonetheless in coming days. Many Black-bellied Plovers are still
around the area in fields, but no one has reported American Golden-Plover yet.
