Hiked the Noland Trail this morning and was really pleased with the amount of
bird activity; highlights were 10 warbler species including a stunning view of
an adult male Black-throated Green Warbler plus 3 Chestnut-Sided Warblers, a
Red-Breasted Nuthatch, and a close-up view of a Warbling Vireo (my first).
Getting 3 species of terns on the lake was also nice. Have fun,
Nick Flanders.
