This was the first night lately that we had a chance to look for the Martin
roost, although we've counted some flying over the house for a few weeks.
Whereas the birds used to gather at Martins grocery store on Pleasant Valley
Rd, tonight we found them a few blocks south in the Lowes parking lot.
From 8:10 - 8:35 we made a rough estimate of 3500-4000, always hard tofigure as they mill about constantly. Not the same as 27,500, but still
