VA Birders :
This afternoon an adult male Merlin offered prolonged views at
Algonikan Park. The bird was perched high in a tree on the golf course just to
the
right as you go past the entrance gate .The bird was viewable from the
entrance road or from a pedestrian path that cuts across the golf
course.Respect
the golfers if they are on the course. DO NOT WALK ONTO THE GOLF COURSE
ITSELF.
YOU WILL GET A BALL IN YOUR HEAD OR WORSE. I obtained some decent digiscope
shots. Just need to find out how to post them from Sue H .
