Greetings to all:
On Sunday morning May 25, 2008, I made a trip to the Falkand Farm in Halifax
County just about 2 miles from Banister River WMA.
Along the way I found a Barred Owl along the creek bed after passing the
Banister River.
After looking for warblers and other singing birds, I returned to Runt
Powell's farm to look for Mississippi Kites.
At 1215 hrs, I spotted a Common Night-hawk and then spotted 2 adult
Mississippi Kites soaring around.
