VA BIRDers,
Two adult Mississippi Kites were over Carl Sandburg Middle School late
yesterday afternoon, about 6pm. This location is west of Waynewood Elementary
and north of Old Stage Rd. Bart Hutchinson and I looked for a nest but found
none - we are sure one is nearby! It would be great if these kites could be
confirmed as Fairfax Co breeders.
