July 21. 17:00-1730, no Mississippi Kites seen.
Next day, July 22. 16:20-16:40, same location.
Two Mississippi Kites were circling over head as I got out of the car.
They both appeared to be adult birds to me, they continued to circle
for some minutes, and then they both landed on exposed dead branches
at the top of a tree on the south side of the road.
These two birds were observed for several minutes with a scope,
and while they were both perched, and then a third adult appeared,
and circled over head to the north.
So three adult birds; no streaky birds of the year.
