Here in south Arlington, we've had a Fox Sparrow the past two days, only the
second for the year, and this morning we had our first Chipping Sparrow.
Unrelated to that, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good spot to listen
for Whip-Poor-Wills reasonably near D.C. (Once they return, of course.) I
know of plenty of potential habitat, but I'm more worried about after-dark
access. Don't want to end up with my car stuck behind a locked gate! If you
have any suggestions, kindly reply off-list.
