On the way home from the Ft. Belvoir count, we found a Mute Swan in the
Little Rocky Run swamp on the south side of Rt 29 in Centreville. Also here
were Canada Geese, Black Ducks, Mallards and Green winged Teal.
We didn't notice if the swan was banded or not, it never came out of the
water. If anyone knows if this is a captive bird, please let us know.
