Had a decent-sized push of Yellow-rumped Warblers through the yard today. The
low ceiling (almost fog) seemed to play a role. Some of the males were in
pretty snazzy plumage, and at least one of those males was singing, my first
singing male this year. That usually alerts me to the imminent arrival of
yellow Palm Warblers. Maybe in the next day or so.
