Just off the wire -- Vic Laubach, who is the official counter today at
Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch atop Afton Mountain, just phoned with the latest
update.

Within the past 25 minutes, seven BALD EAGLE have flown over.  The first
were two flying over, first spotted by Marshall Faintich using his new
binoculars.  Most impressive were the group of FIVE, that's right, FIVE Bald
Eagle streaming across at the same time, consisting of four adults and one
juvenile.  The observers are still waiting for the Broad-wings but for now
we're happy with all of these eagles!!!

And here I am, stuck in the office.  L
