A total of 7 birders enjoyed a beautiful, sunny morning on today's Northern Va.
Bird Club's field trip to Leesylvania St. Pk. in Pr. Wm. County.
Yellow-throated Warblers provided the highlight of the trip, including one
particular individual who gave everybody walk-away views from about 15 feet
away at eye level in a still-leafless tree. Other warblers were N. Parula,
Palm. Yellow-rumped, & Blk & White. The complete list of 46 species is

Leps: Falcate Orangetip (5- all females); Zebra & Tiger Swt., Spring Azures, &
Juvenal's Duskywing.

Notes: 7 Participants. Leader: R. Klarquist. Clear & sunny morning, with temps
warming up from 50 degees at start. Lt. breeze. Great views of Y-throated
Warblers. Trees just beginning to leaf out. At least 5 Osprey nests at or near
park. Searched at boardwalk area for Prothonotary, w/o any luck.
