24 birders came out for a Northern Virginia Bird Club walk at Huntley Meadows
this morning. Highlights included twelve WIlson's Snipe, some singing Pine
Warblers and a calling Sora which we could not see. We enjoyed a nice swallow
show with Tree, Northern Rough-winged and a Barn flying low over the water. We
also spotted a pair of Blue-winged Teal and more than a few Swamp Sparrows. We
had 45 species total.
