VA BIRDers,
I started at the Dyke Marsh marina at 8 am, followed by the picnic area and
then the Stone Bridge. I returned later mid-afternoon after Larry
Cartwright called with the Red-necked Phalarope report. Some rare birds(*)
for Dyke but nothing really unusual, i.e., all have been recorded in late
Aug or early Sept. but never all at one time.
