Happy Memorial Day weekend, birders..
I was at the New Kent Forestry Center this morning and I saw this bird perched on a wire in the field going down toward the river lookout. No tail-flicking, no head bobbing no calling. Just calmly sitting there. I thought it was a Robin, but shot a couple of pics anyhow. In looking at them, I noticed a yellow tinge to the undersides and under the throat. Not a Robin. It never did turn and face me, even when I drove closer. I shot 3 images and drove off with it still sitting there. I sort of thought Swainson's Thrush, but the yellow doesn't fit. I give up.
If any of you get a chance, could you take a look and see (3 images)

It's probably something incredibly common, and I can't see the forest for the trees, so to speak....
Thanks!
