Marsh picnic area. Highlights were:
Tundra Swan - long present bird off Hunting Creek's Stone Bridge from DM
picnic area
Horned Grebe - 12 off Mason Neck VC in Belmont Bay
Common Loon - Quantico Cr
Greater Yellowlegs - 4 in Neabsco Cr marsh
Lesser Yellowlegs - 2 in Quantico Cr marsh
Bonaparte's Gulls - 24 in Belmont Bay (see Marc Ribaudo's report)
Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 Hunting Creek mudflats, Potomac side
Forster's Tern - Neabsco Cr
White-eyed Vireo - The Point
Blue-headed Vireo - Pr Wm Forest Park (spur off VA 619)
Tree Swallows - most places
Northern Rough-winged Sw - group of 5 off Occ. Bay Marina
Hermit Thrush - still pushing through in numbers with 6 easily found at The
Point
LA Waterthrush - traditional spot at The Point
Black & White Warbler - where Cockpit Pt Rd goes downhill at The Point
Yellow-throated Warbler - 5 at The Point
Pine Warbler - 5 at The Point
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 6 at The Point, some flying north
Chipping Sparrow - most places
