I am posting this report for Sandy Farkas who led the first NVBC
(www.nvabc.org) trip of the season. Kurt Gaskill also sent me his list
form the same location which follows our list. I will be at Huntley
Meadows next Saturday at 7:30 AM for another NVBC walk.

Although species diversity was low, the birds that we did see afforded
great views. Highlights: 2 juvenile eagles soaring very close and at
eye level, yellow-billed cuckoo perched overhead, juvenile turkey
vulture perched, and the only warbler was a non migrating prothonotary
warbler.
