I will be leading the Northern VA Bird Club walk at Huntley Meadows Park
tomorrow morning. We will depart the Visitors Center parking lot at 8:30 a.m. I
will be in the lot at 7:30 a.m. and and those who show up early can bird with
me along the entry road and around the Visitors Center, which can be a good
migrant drop-in area during migration. The address of the park is 3701 Lockheed
Blvd., Alexandria, VA 22306. From Beltway, take Rt. 1 south 3 mi. to Lockheed
Blvd. Right on Lockheed; go 0.5 mi. to Harrison Lane, park entrance on left.
Non-NVBC members are welcome on the walk, as are novice birders. I even have a
spare pair of binoculars for any first-timer you may want to bring along.
