Greetings (Northern) Virginia Bird Watchers;
It is my pleasure to announce a new website (interactive map viewer) that
shows birding locations across the state. The map viewer was created as a
follow-up on some new maps created for the upcoming Manassas-Bull Run
Christmas Bird Count (CBC). The map viewer shows CBC circles, eBird
Locations, AKN locations. For the Manassas-Bull Run Circle, the sectors are
mapped as well. Count information for 4 NoVa CBC circles is provided as
well. Using this map, you can get a feel for what the area is like and how
to get there.

A short help guide is provided below.
My employer Waterborne Environmental, Inc. has graciously allowed me to use
equipment and software to setup and host this service. However, our servers
are not as powerful as those used by e.g. Google, eBird. So please be
patient if the map happens to load slowly.
