The last couple of days we are doing better in the backyard than farther
afield. Seen at close range around the mini-pond and cherry tree today:
Northern Waterthrush—never have seen one in our backyard before. Pale yellowish
below, with a pale yellowish, uniform eyestripe. Bobbed its tail straight up
and down and moved in a walking motion along a dead tree branch. My wife had
heard, but not seen it, yesterday.
Cape May—male, gone in just a few seconds, though.
Yellow—male and female
RB Grosbeak—male
Several Blackpolls and continuing to have Yellow Rumps about.
