Fifteen birders participated in the weekly walk at Dyke Marsh, sponsored by the
Friends of Dyke Marsh. All in all a pretty quiet day, with very low waterfowl
diversity and long stretches of quiet trail. However, we did hit some pockets
of activity that were very enjoyable. The best bird was a pair of northern
parulas in a mixed flock near the beginning of the trail. Here is the list of
