Good birding, despite intense drought. Numerous sightings (except where
noted):
Pair of ducks flushed from stream at dusk-probably wood ducks or teal.

Mystery kite/harrier/buteo 1
(Actually looked like the photos of a white-tailed kite, but it must have
been a broad-winged hawk or a Northern harrier. It was sitting on the top
of a tree, and it looked: a) small and b) WHITE, including the head. Bill
looked small and black, in contrast to the white head.)
