A pleasant morning for a walk. Highlight of the morning was a Peregrine Falcon
perched on a piling at the south end of the series of islands and mud spits
that parallel the channel into Occoquan bay. I was heading from Charlie Rd. to
Easy Rd. on Deep Hole Point Rd, and the falcon remained perched, occasionally
preening, for at least 40 min. as I walked along the river. Last I saw it, it
was still perched. Complete list follows.
