[Va-bird] Occoquan Bay NWR - late warblers, night heron

The Northern Virginia Bird Club visited Occoquan Bay NWR in Woodbridge this 
morning.  The 23 attendees enjoyed gorgeous weather and some really nice birds. 
 Top finds were:  a northern parula along Deephole Point Rd. near the 
intersection with Delta Rd; a female black-throated blue warbler along Deephole 
Point Rd. between Deephole Point and the gazebo; an immature black-crowned 
night heron near the intersection of Deephole Point Rd. and Charlie Rd.  Other 
goodies were a common loon in Belmont Bay, rusty blackbird along the Wildlife 
Drive at the marsh, and 7 horned grebes off the gazebo.  The complete list of 
the 69 species is below.
