What normally would be considered an awful view, my condo overlook of the
old coal factory has made for excellent and extended observations of a
Common Raven couple. I've seen them preening, sharing food, and even
jumping (prancing?) around.
Today, though, was most notable because I was lucky enough to have the bins
locked in on the amorous pair while the attempted to copulate. Only time
will tell if they were successful, but the good news is that it looks like
there's a decent chance we'll have a continued CORA presence in Old Town.
