I stopped by Harrison Lake early Friday morning and was treated to an
adult orchard oriole in the dreary cloudy morning fog down by the lake.
I decided to go ahead and try to get a couple pics and was really glad I
got my camera out, because what happened next unexpectedly, gave me an
amazing picture. The oriole would grab a few bugs and fly off and then
he called and next thing I know, a juvenile is sitting there about ten
feet beside me as daddy came over to feed him. It was cool to see and I
was lucky to get the pictures. A good start to my day.
