[Va-bird] Osprey, GBHs, and flock of flickers at Union Springs, Rockingham Co.

For several weeks, we have been seeing 5-7 great blue herons at Union
Springs Dam and in the trees on the swamp end.  Yesterday and today an
osprey was at the lake.  

 

Today Marlin saw about forty, give or take, yellow-shafted flickers in the
pasture.  He never saw so many at one time-I suppose I haven't either.
