Envious of all the Rough-legged Hawk sightings, I took a drive around the
Blandy Experimental Farm (Clarke County, VA) late Friday afternoon
(12/12). No luck on Rough-legs, but I did see an adult Peregrine
Falcon. The Falcon scattered a flock of Robins to the east of the
Arboretum border and then flew west over the Meadow and out of sight.
Earlier in the day I had two fly-over Pine Siskins near the Quarters building.
