Saturday, 3/17, I went to Buggs Island Lake to practice photography. The best
photos are on Flickr at the link below. There are some pretty good ones of
Red-headed Woodpecker and Osprey including an exciting landing on a power pole.
There was a group of about 16 Common Loons casually feeding in a cove. They
obligingly swam by the point where I was sitting. They were barking or yipping
like puppies. Quite curious and a new occurrance for me.
