After considering feedback from birders as well as the business people
here at the Bridge, we've decided that, to avoid issues regarding
registration and attendance for tours, we will charge a nominal
registration fee of $5 for each trip (group deals would be available).
For the 6 AM trip, this would *include* the continental breakfast.
Registrants would still be able to purchase the 7 AM buffet for $10.
Also, we won't be offering the 10% discounts, but trip registration
would be free for hotel guests. In the future, we may offer additional
discount packages.
I hope to have completed and submitted the business plan for the
program by this time tomorrow. Launch is still scheduled for April 1.
After we get this program on the road, we'll begin working on one or
more programs for summer nights involving owls and nightjars, bats,
insects, and possibly astronomy.
