The Eurasian widgeon was easily found and well seen this afternoon at Pohick
Bay regional Park.
It was in a large raft of Redhead, American Widgeon, Gadwall, and Scaup, to the
right of the boat ramp.
There also seems to be a large number of both Common and Red-breasted
mergansers on the far side of the day by Fort Belvoir.
Countless coots right in front of the boat ramp.
Also saw my first Osprey, at Pohick Bay, for the season.
