Greetings to all:

During my walk at lunch today 04/15/02 I found a male Prothonotary Warbler,
after watching him singing for a few minutes he proceeded to fly from tree to
tree looking into every nesting hole that he could find.  He was only a few
feet from the very busy Hwy 58.
Also saw a Spotted Sandpiper flying up the Dan River and saw a pair of Red-eyed
Vireos today.

Found a Palm Warbler in Dan Daniel Park on Friday 04/12/02.
On Sunday at Banister River WMA in Halifax Co I found not only Yellow-rumped
Warblers, but also a Prairie Warbler, Northern Parula, Common Yellowthroat,
Pine, Yellowthroated Warbler and a Prothonotary Warbler.
