Greetings All,
I still have not captured a photo of the Virginia Rail and wee Rails,
but I did see the Prothonotary Warbler today. I found it at the little
or middle pond - the first one you come too, on the "informal" trail.
Apparently this is the first time in a long time there has been a
nesting pair at Huntley Meadows.
Not much else going on when I was out there. A nice fly over by a
Great Egret and a Red Shouldered Hawk. A side note, since I live to
photograph wildlife, usually the moment I leave is when all the birds
come around and stand still for the perfect photos.

Egret, Osprey, Red Shouldered Hawk, Mississippi Kite.
