The Purple Gallinule continues at Loth Springs along the South River Greenbelt
in Waynesboro.
I arrived by 3:45 and the bird was not to be seen. I stuck around and it
finally emerged from thick understory to right of the large Willow tree at 6:31
pm and remained out in the open for 8 minutes before disappearing back into the
understory.
