The red crossbills were at Glen Alton again today. They were in the
trees near the newly-cleared opening at the high pond around 11:30.
Also, a RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen cruising overhead. SCARLET
TANAGER, BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER, AMERICAN REDSTART were other
good finds. There were a number of other ( confusing fall) warblers
moving fast and hard to see.
No Black bear.
