Hi all,

I found a red-breasted nuthatch (in keeping with the general irruption
pattern) at Pleasant Grove Park in Fluvanna County this morning this
morning. In irruption years, this park tends to host a lot of them. This
one was in the conifer grove around the graveyard.

I also found a flock of three palm warblers foraging along the shelterbelt
(if one may call it that) on Pleasant Grove Drive. They all lifted off and
headed in the direction of the river after a few minutes.

There were a number of other migrants as well; an osprey soaring over the
fields, a couple of very small warbler groups, etc. Nothing rare.

Great birding,

Shea
