While doing some shopping in Colonial Heights today, I checked the pond
behind Sam's Club (off Dimmock Pkwy, near Red Lobster) for ducks. There
were many Ring-necked Ducks, Coots, Ruddies, and Canada Geese. There was
one male Redhead, which was definitely the highlight, as I've never seen one
there before.
